Travel fee outside of 60km radius from my home base may apply. Additional digital files/prints/canvas/albums are all available for purchase - either individually, or as part of/ additional to, a package. Packages start at R995, the average spend is R2500 which will include one or more printed images as well as digital images.

But my children are very boisterous ...
Whilst it will make things a lot more relaxed if they do have a few minutes concentration every so often, I will work together with you to make this fun for everyone. The best images are of relaxed subjects - both you and them. Meeting with you prior to the session will help put everyone at ease.
How about camera shy people ...
There is beauty in all and variety is the spice of life. If you relax, enjoy the scenery and allow me to do what I do best, we will have beautiful images. It is not my style to make you look like someone else - however I do my best to bring out YOUR UNIQUE and BEAUTIFUL sparkle. Meeting you prior to the session usually helps everyone feel more comfortable.
What should we wear?
Colour co-ordinate the subjects - stay within the same colour ranges (stick to mid-tones, no brights, slogans etc). High heels, very light colours or white, may not be the best idea for busy little bodies, where pets are included or certain locations. Further guidance will be given at the pre-session consult.
Where do we shoot?
Babies, the elderly and in cases, family and maternity shoots (lifestyle shoots), can be done in your home environment which contributes to the most relaxed atmosphere. Other venues which you may have in mind (including public spaces) may require a fee and all bookings must be on paper. I have a portable studio and can bring it into certain environments where formal studio style images are required. Depending on the day's requirements this may elicit additional fee
Will you travel?
During the course of the year, I travel to various places around South Africa. Sessions are arranged in these locations - either several short sessions in one day, or some longer individual custom sessions, depending on your needs. In these cases there is no travel fee applicable. Email me with your location to stay updated of plans for your area.
How many people per shoot?
Half Carat Packages - 1 subject per shoot. Standard shoots are best manageable with 1-4 subjects. These can be any combination of humans and animals. Any additional humans/animals elicit an extra R100 per subject. When there are a number of children/animals, please consider arranging for a few more familiar adult hands to help out - as familiar hands equate relaxed subjects.
I only want digitals.
Standard packages include some prints plus webres digitals. Thus you can enjoy and share them in many ways. You are most welcome to purchase more and/or high res digitals.
How does payment work?
Your session fee/package fee is payable upfront (EFT/bank deposit). For photo sessions: 50% upon booking a date, the remaining 50% at least 2 days before shooting. (Half Carat Sessions fully payable upon booking).

Reminders
Quality of supplied photo influences final product size. Written permission must be gained from photographer/owner of photo when it is not your own. Original digital file is NEVER available, your painting is a once-off item as with any organic painting.
